The conte is back! Still struggling with heads and light vs dark in a picture, but I feel like I've improved a lot this semester since I had time to go to life drawing. Rick is a cool cat.

GAA doesn't offer life drawing, so if I have free time, maybe I'll sneak into Rick or Matt's classes.... ! Or Zimmermann if I feel like my structure is slipping.

Life Drawing ― Week 11 and more!

So that stuff up there is from last semester. The stuff at the bottom is a combination of brush pen and conte.

I forgot to take pictures, so that's why there's things holding down the paper....

And this is from the end of January, the time of remembering that winter break is over.

I was also trying to see if I can use conte! And nope, don't think I can use conte only.

 

Brush pen and Magnum-sized Sharpie. Not sure if I like Sharpie over conte, but I'll try it out again this week.

Both are five minutes. A lot of long poses this week, so it was hard to get warmed up. Apparently, it's AFD portfolio time!

Nicolle says these are a lot better than last weeks at least. I gotta get better at bust up and legs. Really gotta get better at heads. ;-;

Trying to get back into using conte/not markers and life drawing in general. Last semester was so hectic that I was bad and didn't attend extra life as much as I should. I'm hoping to be able to post life drawings weekly to try and push myself! Nicolle halp pls
